This policy explains how Vegas Sky handles information when you use the app.

Information used by the app

Location

If you give permission, Vegas Sky uses your location to calculate nearby weather and astronomical viewing conditions. Your coordinates may be sent to a weather service only to return the conditions you request. Vegas Sky does not save your location or associate it with an account.

Camera

AR Viewing uses the live camera view to help place sky-object markers. Vegas Sky does not record, upload, or save photos or video from your camera.

Motion and orientation

AR Viewing uses device motion and orientation information to align sky-object markers. This information is processed on your device and is not saved by Vegas Sky.

Support messages

If you email support, the information you include is used only to answer your question or investigate the issue. Messages may be retained as needed to provide support.

Third-party services

Vegas Sky may contact weather and astronomical data services to provide requested conditions. Those services may receive technical information needed to answer a request, such as an IP address and approximate coordinates. Their handling of information is governed by their own policies.

Data sharing and retention

Vegas Sky does not sell or rent personal information. Information is shared only when needed to provide an app feature, respond to support, comply with law, or protect users and the service. Vegas Sky does not retain location, camera, or motion information.

Your choices

You can deny or disable location, camera, and motion permissions in iPhone Settings. Some features may not work without the permission they require.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when Vegas Sky’s features or information practices change. The latest version will appear on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
